Day 1

Arrive Delhi

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel for a stay of two nights. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2

Delhi

Enjoy a combined full day guided sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Morning tour of Old Delhi includes a drive past the Red Fort and a visit to the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia and the Raj Ghat, the simple but moving memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Afternoon tour of New Delhi includes the Qutab Minar, the astonishing victory tower built in the early 13th century, a masterpiece of perfect proportions; the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun and a drive past the imposing India Gate (War Memorial Arch), the Parliament buildings and the Rashtrapathi Bhawan (the President's residence).

Day 3

Delhi-Agra (205 kms/4 hrs)

Morning drive to Agra en route visiting Akbar's mausoleum at Sikandra, the sandstone and marble tomb. On arrival in Agra, transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. Afternoon explore the massive red sandstone Agra Fort. Continue to Taj Mahal (closed on Friday), built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century as a mausoleum for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, and now one of the world's most famous landmarks.

Day 4

Agra-Jaipur (235 kms/5 hrs)

Morning drive to Jaipur en route visiting Akbar's abandoned capital, Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival in Jaipur, transfer to your hotel for a stay of two nights

Day 5

Jaipur

Morning, enjoy a brief photo stop at the intriguing red sandstone Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Continue to visit the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha Rajputs, Amer. Afternoon tour of the City Palace Museum with its collection of paintings, carpets, weapons and costumes. Carry on to the Jantar Mantar Observatory with its 90 ft. sundial and explore the bustling and colorful markets of the old city.

Day 6

Jaipur-Shekhawati (170kms/4 ½ hrs)

Drive from the ‘Pink City' to the heart of the Shekhawati region. On arrival, check into your hotel for an overnight stay. Afternoon, explore the magnificent frescoed `havelis' built by the rich merchants of the area.

Day 7

Shekahwati-Bikaner (180 kms/5 hrs)

Drive further west to Bikaner and on arrival check into your hotel for a stay of two nights. Bikaner's forts, palaces and temples are magnificent creations in red and yellow sandstone and are living manifestations of its rich historical and architectural legacy

Day 8

Bikaner

Morning visit the Junagarh Fort built in the 15th century by one of the most able and trusted generals of Akbar, Raja Rai Singh. Inside the fort is a profusion of 37 palaces, temples and pavilions that are marvels in red sandstone construction. Continue to the National Research Centre on Camel (formerly known as the Camel Breeding farm) and visit the camel museum. Take a camel ride or watch the calves gambolling or participate in an interactive lecture delivered by a traditional camel breeder.

Day 9

Bikaner-Jaisalmer (340 Kms/6 hrs)

Morning drive to Jaisalmer. Enroute, visit the famous 600 year old Karni Mata Temple dedicated to Karni Mata. The most unusual feature of the temple is the rats that scamper freely within the sanctum of the temple and are regarded as sacred. Spotting a white rat is considered to bring good fortune. On arrival in Jaisalmer, transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10

Manvar (200 kms/4 hrs)

Explore the Jaisalmer Fort that emerges from the flat dry desert sand and walk through the maze of narrow lanes dotted with ornately decorated havelis. Early afternoon departure from Jaisalmer to Manvar where you will enjoy an overnight stay at the tented camp on the sand dunes.

Day 11

Manvar-Jodhpur (95 kms/2 ½ )

Early morning, enjoy a Jeep Safari through the local villages before you proceed on drive to the ‘Blue City' of Jodhpur where you will stay for two nights. Afternoon visit the fortress of Meherangarh with its graceful palaces, a spectacular setting for the rich past and culture of this imperial city. Explore the bazaar with its rich collection of handicrafts.

Day 12

Jodhpur

Spend the day at the spectacular hamlet of ‘Rohet'. Enjoy a jeep safari to the Bishnoi tribal villages. Witness the opium ceremony, a ritual by which guests are traditionally welcomed. Enjoy the luxuries of a bygone era as you experience the excitement and fun of riding on bullock carts. Following lunch, return to Jodhpur.

Day 13

Jodhpur to Kumbhalgarh (240kms. 05 hrs.)

After breakfast drive to Kumbhalgarh . En route visit famous Jain temples of Ranakpur. (Jain temples at ranakpur. built in white marble. its 29 halls spread over 40,000 sq.ft. and consisting of 1,444 pillars, not one of which is alike in its carving). Visit Ranakpur for Lunch. After lunch continue drive to Kumbhalgarh and check into hotel., Later visit to majestic fort of Kumbhalgarh

Day 14

Kumbhalgarh to Udaipur( 50 kms. 01 hrs.)

After breakfast enjoy Jeep safari of Kumbhalgarh sentry. Later drive to Udaipur where you will stay for two nights

Day 15

Udaipur

Morning visit the City Palace, stronghold of the Maharanas of Mewar and the Saheliyon ki Badi (Garden of the Maids of Honour). Afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the tranquillity and serenity of the City of Lakes and Sunrise.

Day 16

Depart Delhi

Transfer to the Udaipur airport and fly to Delhi to connect with your international flight back home
